Rims (aluminium and carbon options)

Adv.Whls - We use a house brand made-to-order carbon rim. Together with our partners we choose not the extremely light but a reliable carbon structure with enough spoke holes for strength. 2 years of warranty applies on all builds. All Adv.Whls rims come with none or removable branding.

Duke - A French brand that makes extremely high-end rims for all cycling forms. Duke is also a trusted partner for aluminium rims. 

Hubs 

Hope - This must be the Adv.Whls favorite. The British Hope hubs are reliable, strong and have a great sound. Available in nearly all known spoke counts, dropout- and bike standards. Besides making great bike parts Hope offers a wide variety of colours. This is our favorite hub for extreme and wet conditions, long bike trips and ultra racing.

Erase - A lightweight and reliable hub from Belgium. A great ratchet system with titanium freehub and lifetime warranty. Erase also offers BERD flange and straightpull options. Available in several colours. Erase is our favourite lightweight option for fast gravel, road and CX racing.

QVIST - A rider owned and operated company from Dresden, Germany that offers an exclusive ratchet system with a stunning minimalist design hub. What's not minimalist is the amazing sound that these hubs produce. All are easy to service and truly bring your bike to an exclusive level.

DT Swiss - The industry standard, designed in Switzerland and globally known for it's reliability. Spare parts are easy to find at any high-end bike shop.

Spokes and nipples

We use stainless Alpina and Sapim spokes. Depending on your needs and wishes we use round (butted) or aero spokes in silver and black. We are a big fan of brass nipples (compared to aluminium) so we made that our standard choice for any wheel build. Brass does not oxodise to stainless spokes like alloy and keeps your wheel servicable many years after assembly.
